Martin Bläse invites you to an immersive lying-down concert—a meditative sound journey where you are encouraged to recline, relax, and let the resonant tones of his handcrafted gongs wash over you, weaving ancient legends into a unique musical experience.

A silversmith and gong master, Bläse inherited the craft from his father and grandfather, dedicating over thirty years to perfecting his art.

“Gongs are among the oldest instruments in human history, yet titanium gongs are entirely innovative,” explains Martin Bläse. “Titanium’s unique crystal structure gives it extraordinary acoustic qualities, further enhanced by meticulous craftsmanship—hammering and fire. Heat treatment also produces a striking patina, allowing me to create visual art. When the gong maker wields his hammer and ignites the fire, ancient legends awaken.”

Bläse describes listening to these sounds as embarking on an inner journey.

Martin Bläse’s gongs have resonated in venues worldwide. During a concert tour in Finland two years ago, he envisioned the Kalevala gong. Inspired by Arvo Pärt’s music, he later crafted the Tabula Rasa gong. Now, Bläse returns to Estonia, bringing both remarkable instruments to guide listeners through an ancient soundscape.

We recommend enjoying the gong concert while lying down—bring a mat and blanket for comfort.
